    I was a student at APS, Noida from 1996-2007. Being an Army school, the overall discipline of the school was impeccable. The academic rigor was also very good, however it could have been improved with a focus on qualitative teaching as opposed to quantitative teaching. Moreover, after 10th grade there were only the traditional subjects under the different streams of science, humanities and commerce. It would have been great to have a broader set of subjects to choose from such as entrepreneurship, creative writing, foreign languages etc. that are more vocational in nature and are already been taught in other schools. Extra-curricular activities are encouraged and the school has a robust sports department with basketball and cricket being the top two, owing to the coaches at the time. I was part of the school basketball team and played at the sate and national levels. The sports facilities at the school also helped me get admission into a prestigious college at Delhi University. Overall, having done my entire schooling from APS, Noida, I can certainly say that it made me appreciate the value of discipline in life.

    I have two daughters who are well into their careers .They have studied in APS Noida from the beginning till Grade 12. The school at that time(1995-2007) was very academic.There were extra curricular activities but not over academics.Their basketball coaching was the best.My elder daughter got admission to KNC Delhi University based on her performance in basketball.Both my daughters played till nationals.My daughters still remember their school days with great fondness,I suppose that says a lot.It was great value for the fees taken.Having said that it would have been great if attention was paid to more all round development of the child. More student counselling to understand for the benefit of the students their core competence.Helping students to choose their streams rather than the marks deciding which stream they could choose.More like CBSE board with IB tools.
