I think getting admission in the following year should not be very difficult, since most of the schools have couple of seats available in their classes and they are open for filling those.

I think getting admission in the top schools in the following year would be difficult and also quite hectic. it is always easy to get admission in the nursery class as you always have more chances of getting admission as schools might increase the number of sections in the nursery class based on the admissions response they receive. once this is closed you might have very few chances of getting admission next year. also you might end up with spending lot of money which i think is of no use.
